Bio:
Jukebox Monkey are a Kent / Norwich-based three-piece whose blend of southern stoner rock, desert grooves, and alternative heavy rock has earned them a reputation as one of the UK's most consistently hard-working underground bands. Formed in 2010, the trio have spent well over a decade carving their own path through the UK heavy music scene, building a loyal following through explosive live performances, infectious energy, and a catalogue of riff-driven releases.

Known for their monolithic, foot-stomping sound, Jukebox Monkey fuse the expansive low-end power of desert rock with the swagger, groove, and weight of southern sludge.

Across multiple EPs and a critically acclaimed debut album, the band established themselves as masters of huge riffs, gritty dual-vocal melodies, and thunderous rhythms designed to hit hard both on record and on stage.

Their latest release marks a significant evolution in the band's sound. While the head-nodding stoner grooves and soaring choruses remain firmly intact, this hard-fought second album reveals a darker, sharper edge, drawing influence from the alternative rock and grunge movement of the early 1990s.

Serious, aggressive, introspective, and ultimately redemptive, the album showcases a side of Jukebox Monkey rarely seen beneath their usually affable and good-humoured exterior.

That contrast is what makes the record so compelling. These are the same musicians whose energetic live shows have lit up stages at Bloodstock, Stoomfest,  Hammerfest, and countless clubs, pubs, and festivals across the UK. A band renowned for bringing the party now channel frustration, reflection, and hard-earned experience into songs that carry genuine emotional weight without sacrificing the groove and power that define their identity.

Whether delivering towering desert rock riffs, anthemic choruses, or moments of raw vulnerability, Jukebox Monkey continue to prove that heavy music can be both crushingly powerful and deeply human.

"Heavy low-end groovy stoner metal in the vein of Kyuss and Five Horse Johnson."
