Bio : Master Charger are a three-piece rock, doom, and sludge metal band forged in the black heart of the English Midlands. Formed in 2006 from the remnants of several established local bands, they have spent nearly two decades refining a distinctive sound that fuses blues-soaked classic rock with crushing doom, sludge, and old-school metal aggression.

Following the release of their debut album Unity in Black (2011) and the acclaimed follow-up Eroding Empires (2016), Master Charger built a reputation as a formidable live act, sharing stages with artists including Monolord, Orange Goblin, Conan, Raging Speedhorn, Paradise Lost, Overkill, Decapitated, Fireball Ministry, Black Rainbows, and Nashville Pussy, while appearing at major UK festivals such as HRH Doom vs Stoner, HRH Metal Chapter III, and Hammerfest XI.

Their 2018 One for Sorrow EP marked a return to their original three-piece lineup and an even heavier sonic approach. This momentum continued with Origin of the Lugubrious, recorded with producer Robert James, further capturing the band's powerful live sound.

By late 2024, Master Charger signed with Octopus Rising / Argonauta Records for the release of their latest album, Posthumous Resurrection. The album was preceded by the singles "When Hell Rode In" and "Mass Produced, Mass Destroyed" in early 2025. Following drummer Jon Kirk's departure due to injury in March 2025, Ste Dudley joined as the band's full-time drummer, ensuring the relentless march continued.

Driven by thunderous riffs, blues-infused grooves, and crushing rhythms, Master Charger have become known for what fans aptly dubbed their "Satanic Blues Rumble" - a raw, heavy blend of doom, sludge, classic rock, and metal that is as groove-laden as it is punishing.
